Present projects include: Aubade for Violin and Strings. .

A new version of Sonata for Violin and Piano, "Celtic Wedding," which was commissioned by Pacific serenades, is being prepared for publication by that organization. Also, it will be included in a new CD by Jessica Mathaes, which will also contain Seven Deadly Sins for violin and piano, completed at the end of 2009 and written especially for this soloist.

Piano Sonata No. 6 "The Waste Land" has won second honor in the New Ariel Competition, and it was recorded by pianist, Jeff Jacob for New Ariel Records.

Paul has won the Definiens Project Music Composition Contest. He wrote a piece for oboe, alto saxophone, violin, violoncello, and piano (Your Reality Check is in the Mail) for the group's 2006-2007 concert season. Premiere was at the Jazz Bakery on January 29, 2007 (7:30 PM) with a second performance at the Koos Art Center in Long Beach, California on February 1.
